LENA, promoter of electronic music events in Rennes and Nantes launches its label Hertzel records. Taken from the Breton word "herzel" which means resistance, the label aims to highlight the local scene and to resist to the mainstream consumer culture, which norms creativity.

This first release is a Various Artists composed of 4 tracks gathering Alpha Sect, The Undertaker's Tapes, Crystal Geometry and The Black Anther. It is dedicated to Lise London.

Lise London was a French Communist politician and activist. She participated in the French Resistance during World War II. This Various Artist is the first of a series that will put into the spotlight all of those, like Lise London, who have been able to show resistance in the face of serious societal drift.
